PAST- THE FALL OF GREMTUK
Gremtuk were once a very powerful and highly revered species, living side by side in peace with the human inhabitants who had also called Egypt their home. With the humans and Gremtuk working together, their civilizations grew to impressive sizes, Gremtuk were the masterminds while humans pitched in and helped wherever they were needed. Structures of magnificent proportions were built, economies were thriving, and life was at peace for many centuries.
But as time went on, the relationship between Gremtuk and humanity gradually became undone during a time of rampant disease and famine. Being powered by greed and fear of the overly intelligent Gremtuk, their species were purged almost to extinction, the remaining Gremtuk managing to escape the grasp of man and taking refuge the rest of their years underground, vowing to stay under the earth until their time of revival was brought to light once again.
Due to living underground for centuries, their species had changed drastically from living on land to the adaptation of living underground. These once magnificent creatures had turned into hairless brutes with very large arms/claws and eyes, long thick legs to push through dirt, and tough hairless bodies to regulate their temperatures. They were sensitive to Light, Heat, and touch, but were ruthless flesh-eating monsters with no sense of intelligence besides consuming anything that moved.
